For your protein source, goat milk is allowed. Protein is also available in tofu, nuts, seeds and beans. Almost all vegetables, except mushroom, have a high alkalizing effect. Intake of fruits is limited to grapefruit, lime, lemon and coconuts. People who have adopted the pH miracle diet claim that there had been tremendous effect on their health well within the first couple of weeks. It is advisable to lower the consumption of pre-processed foods, and increase the intake of vegetables, irrespective of what the diet specifies for the person. As a matter of fact, this has become the point of major criticism of the pH diet. Opponents claim that those who are already consuming fresh food and plenty of water will find no effect from this diet. They ignore the pH balance theory. Another significant point to be noticed is that there is no scientific proof of the theories involved in pH miracle diet. Several conventional doctors find no benefits arising from this diet. But the principles of this diet are based completely on Chinese medicine, which has been in practice for centuries. These proponents are currently being studied at the John Hopkins’ University and by the United Nations. Critics may have to amend their attitude towards the basis of the diet.

Breakfast

One example of a healthy breakfast meal is one split of toasted English muffin topped with any type of cheese. Broil the muffin until the cheese melts. You can add half a grapefruit and a little of brown sugar to the muffin.
If you want a breakfast that contains lots of fiber, you can add a cup of low fat or even free-fat milk to your flake cereal. To make it tastier you can add banana to the top of the cereal.
Lunch
Spinach is a healthy food. You can create spinach by topping three to four cups of baby spinach with a piece of sliced hard-boiled egg. In addition, you can add five pieces of thinly sliced mushroom into the crumbled bacon strips, three slices of red onion, five pieces of a thinly sliced mushrooms, and one-fourth cup of feta cheese. Toss the ingredients together and drizzle with your favorite dressing preferably olive oil and a balsamic vinegar.
Sandwich is a perfect simpler meal during lunch. A simple raisin bread sandwich with honey and organic peanut butter should help you get through to dinner. You can have free-fat milk as a couple.
Dinner
Having a light meal during dinner is very important. One perfect example of a healthy dinner meal is the Savory Asian Patty, which you can easily store in the freezer. The ingredients are:
• One pound turkey breast
• Eight pieces of diced water chestnuts
• Two garlic cloves, minced
• Four pieces of thinly sliced onions
• Four tablespoons of soy sauce
• Half a cup of unsweetened applesauce
Mixing all the ingredients together and making four patties. You only need one of the patties so you better save the three for later. Coat a nonstick skillet with cooking spray and cook the patty over medium heat.   Both sides of the patty should be cooked thoroughly.
Serve the patty with a teaspoon of rice vinegar, three-fourths cup of brown rice, and soy sauce and half a teaspoon of sesame oil. Furthermore, you can add a cup of berries and two cups of steamed broccoli to make it a complete meal.
Snack
If you are not used to dieting or food selection would be difficult for you. Changing the way you eat is probably one of the hardest parts of losing weight. Remember that you don’t have to starve yourself during any kind of diet. For those who like to eat snacks, snack food selection is very important. However, keep in mind to make your snacks healthy. For example, you can choose fat free yoghourt instead of chocolate chip cookies. Other essential elements of some of the weight loss menu plans are mineral supplements and, of course, multivitamin. Taking 250 to 400 milligrams of calcium daily is recommended since you are most likely not going to get enough of it by slashing your food consumption substantially.
